Former Union Minister and BJP national working committee member Satpal Maharaj has appreciated the Union rail budget-2016-17. By presenting this budget,the Narendra Modi- led NDA regime has shown their prudence, which is why they have given emphasis on the people’s comfort during journey.
They have increased the speed of local and goods train. They have increased the women quota upto 30 percent in railway reservation. Even they have not raised the train fare, which means they did not put burden on common man.
Now they will provide free wi-fi service on railway stations, ticket vending machines number increased and biodegradable toilets, given emphasis on hot milk andfood for children. They have introduced Antyodaya express, deen dayal passengers bogey and Hamsafar, Tejas and Uday. These initiative will prove milestone in future. They have proposed to start 2800 kilometer rail route and electrification of 2000 kilometer rail route. For this Maharaj has given credit to prime minister Narendra Modi and railway minister Suresh Prabhu as well.
