To connect the youth of the State, the State BJP youth wing Bharatiya Janata Yuvo Morcha hosted a communication programme in Dehradun on Tuesday during which the national and the state level leaders of the wing  interacted with the youth while asking them to be prepared to brave challenges as the nation is being transformed. They also apprised them of the host of schemes the Centre has been initiating for the welfare of the youth. They stressed that the youth can transform themselves from job seekers to job givers while using the schemes being dished out for them.

The National General Secretary of the BJP’s youth affiliate Saurabh Choudhary said that they are engaged in door to door campaign while making  the people aware of the achievements of the Centre and the State Government. “We are informing them of the string of schemes the Centre has rolled out for their benefit,” he said while mentioning  mudra loan, skill-development, start- p and stand up. “We are now a start-up nation with India surging ahead, leaving Israel  behind,” he said.

Cabinet Minister Harak Singh Rawat said that when the people were fighting for the creation of Uttarakhand he was the Pauri district president of the wing. “I was then in the thick of the movement,” he said, adding that generating employment opportunities for the youth was the most formidable challenge before the Centre and the state government. He asked the youth to remain positive in their outlook on life with the negative thinking leading one astray. “We are laying thrust on home stay so as to  enable the  tourists to get flavour of the  village life. This would provide  employment to the villagers too,” he said.

Dehradun mayor and Dharampur MlA Vinod Chamoli said that fighting for a cause is the quintessence of the youth. “As long as this trait is there in them they are youths. You must work hard to succeed in the field you  opt for,”  he said.

Organising general secretary of the youth wing of the saffron party  Sanjay Kuamr said that the spirit of the time is calling the  youth to  change their mindset. “They must strive to provide jobs to others instead of squandering away their energy in getting hold of jobs for themselves,” he said. lauding the State Government, he said that it is trying to unlock the village houses which have long remained locked while referring to the steps being taken to arrest the trend of migration.

State BJP  chief Ajay Bhatt said that  the youth have the tremendous potential hidden in them to transform the nation. “If the youth wing leaders remain engaged in constructive works for long they would get the blessing of the nation,” he added.
