The Bharatiya Janata Party has issued an ultimatum to the Jal Sansthan Executive Engineer, stating that the party will be force to launch an agitation if the authorities fail to improve the situation of water supply in Pauri town within a period of four days. A delegation of local BJP leaders including the party’s district head Mukesh Rawat met the EE who in turn informed that there is no supply of water from Nanghat scheme, which is creating hardship in the distribution of water. He also assured the delegation that efforts will be made to facilitate proper water distribution in the town.
