Amid ‘chai pe charcha’ campaign launched by the BJP to garner popular support in the upcoming lok Sabha elections, the Haldwani unit of the BJP stressed on the need to strengthen party’s base at the booth level.
Senior BJP leader and former member of the BJP national working committee, Manoj Pathak, at a meeting of the party workers here on Thursday, called upon the party activists to reach out to the people at the booth level and reassure them how the BJP can deliver on all front if voted to power.
He asked the party workers to launch door to door campaign at the booth level and appeal to the people to extend their support for making Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi Prime Minister of India.
The Congress Party is only misleading the people in the name of development. It is afraid of popularity of BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, further said the BJP leaders.
The Congress Party seems to be little worried about the common man. The unprecedented level of inflation has only come as a matter of great concern for the common people.
That is why we have to give maximum exposure to the wrong policies of the Congress led Government, the BJP leaders emphasised.
