Along with its conventional way of campaigning like the public rallies and use of social media, the BJP’s experiment with some innovative ways of publicity would continue to bring the popular support to its fold for fighting the crucial electoral battle for lok Sabha this summer.
After the much talked about ‘Chai Pe Charcha’ publicity campaign that raised storm in the tea cup across the country a few days ago, the BJP’s Modi Fans Club would now try to connect with the electorate particularly youths by organising youth conventions across the State. It is yo be noted that with the nation gearing up for holding the lok Sabha elections this summer, the political parties particularly the BJP has already intensified its poll campaign.
We have already organised such youth conventions here. Keeping in view the response we have received, the Modi Fan Club would organise similar programmes across the State, said Shankar Koranga, convener of the Modi Fans Club and leader of BJP’s, Haldwani unit. There is a Modi wave everywhere. The youth of this country today wants a change and only the BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and the BJP can bring about that change in the country. That is why we appeal to the people to extend their support to the BJP in the upcoming lok Sabha elections, added Koranga.
The interesting fact is that like Discussion over Tea campaign, youths are also discussing today’s burning local, national and international issues in these youth conventions orgnised by Modi Fans Club here. The matter of concern is that common people are badly disturbed with unprecedented level of inflation and corruption under this Congress led UPA Government’s nearly a decade rule, alleged the members of the Modi Fans Club.
More so, there is hardly any change in socio- economic life of the people. Migration of the people in search of livelihood continues, the members of the Modi Fan Club alleged. Youths are grossly marginalised with the Government failing to explore required job opportunities. More so, condition of the other sections of the society including farmers is not less worried, they added.
But if the BJP is voted to power under the leadership of Narendra Modi, it will definitely work to promote interests of the people, they maintain. More so, to reach out to the people particularly youths, the Modi Fans Club would organise youth conventions across the state in coming days, they further said.
