Rejecting the CS’s report on disaster scam, State BJP spokesperson Prakash Suman Dhyani reiterated his party’s demand for a CBI probe. He also said that the CS would submit a State Government-friendly report on the emotive scam was a foregone conclusion. “The bureaucrats can hardly ruffle feathers of their political masters,” he said. Shielding the political boss, the chief secretary has given a clean chit to them regarding the helicopter payment scam. “The question is-had the CS taken help from the aviation experts while calculating the expense involved in helicopter serviceIJ” he asked. By saying that non –vegetarian food items were meant for the defence personnel, CS has denigrated them, he said. The servicemen and the ex-servicemen must condemn the report, the BJP leader said. “We would decide our future course of action after the report is submitted to the Governor,” he added.
