State BJP leadership suspended the State party spokesperson Prakash Suman Dhayani on Friday apparently in connection with the slugfest that occurred at the State party headquarters over the election of Doiwala rural area Mandal president. This aside, the party said stern disciplinary actions would be taken against those Ramnagar, Doiwala rural and Dharampur rural areas to stem the tide of intra-party dissidence and indiscipline.
Slamming the suspension move, Dhyani said that the party workers would revolt if the inner party democratic norms are trampled this way. “This is high time we are engaged in introspection,” he said. The statement of suspension signed by state BJP general secretary
(organising) Naresh Bansal said that as per the instruction of the State BJP president Tirath Singh Rawat, state spokesperson Dhyani is being terminated with immediate effect. Now onward
Dhyani can’t participate in any debate on print and electronic media on behalf of state BJP, the statement ran.
