Mobilising different wings of the party to garner maximum popular support in the general elections to be held in the country in 2014, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has given the SC Morcha of the State BJP to increase its voters’ tally by four per cent.
However, calling upon the party workers to reach out to the people to bring them to the party fold, Veena Arya, president of the SC Morcha of the state BJP, has said that the people are totally disappointed with the style of the functioning of both the Central and State Governments. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the people to join hands with the BJP. Though the assembly elections in the state are far ahead, people will definitely unseat the UPA Government from power in the upcoming general elections in the country in 2014, Arya has believed.
“The matter of concern is that the common people are totally disappointed with the unprecedented inflation that they have been facing during the Congress led UPA Government regime for the past so many years in the country,” Arya futher said. More so, corruption under the Congress led Central Government has only come as a major cause of concern for people . That is why the people of this country desperately need a change, so all the party workers need to be ready to put up a united face to defeat the Congress Party in the coming general elections in the country in 2014, she further said.
In the meanwhile, Arya also exhorted the party workers to come in a big number to gheraou the State legislative Assembly Dehradun on September 19. At the same time, expressing happiness over the BJP’s central leadership’s decision to name Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as the party’s prime ministerial candidate ahead of the general elections in 2014, the State president of the SC Morcha of the State BJP said that the BJP would definitely win the upcoming general elections in 2014. More so, we also hope that under the leadership of Modi the country will be able to handle the present challenges effectively, she expressed hope.
