That the people are welcoming the ‘Pardafaash’ yatra, which is about to complete its first phase, shows they are fed up with the Harish Rawat-led Uttarakhand Government. This was claimed by State BJP media incharge Devendra Bhasin while talking to the media here on Sunday.
He said, “Pardafaash rally is being organised by the BJP to educate the people about corruption, which is looming large under the Harish Rawat regime, and a large number of people are welcoming the rally in all parts of the State. This justifies our claim that the people have lost faith in the Congress-led Uttarakhand Government and they are craving for change. As we konw that the rally began on August 17 and on its fifth day the rally has travelled more than half of the Assembly constituencis so far.
“As we konw that the yatra has been divided into two phase. In first phase yatra was suppose to travel in 44 out of 70 assembly constituencies of the State. In wihch more than half of the assembly constituency yatra has travelled and first phase will conclude on August 24. For this party has constituted eight teams and each team is roaming in designated route of the yatra. The eight teams are being led by State BJP president Ajay Bhatt, incumbent Union Minsiter of State Ajay Tamta, four Ex CMs i.e. Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Maj Gen Bhuwan Chandra KHanduri, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank & Vijay Bahuguna and two newly joined BJP leaders i.e. Satpal Maharaj and Harak Singh Rawat”, he added.
Dr Bhasin said that the rally is getting support of the people more than their expectation. It has ascertained our claim that people are disappointed with the Harish Rawat regime and its corruption. Now they want to get rid off from all kind of corruption because every now and then their supporting MlAs are making statement agaisnt the chief minsiter Harish Rawat and its style of functioning. Besides it they have been showing faith and respect towards BJP and its leaders. Now we are sure that people want change in the State and they have made up their mind to punish the congress for all wrongdoing. In this scenario people are looking towards BJP with full hope. He reiterated that BJP is dedicated to make uttarakhand free from congress and Chief Minister Harish Rawat as well.
