launching a scathing attack on the Congress party for criticising the ‘Aajiwan Sahyog Nidhi’ programme, the State party Chief Ajay Bhatt said that it is the Congress party which forcibly extracts money from the people.
He alleged that Crores of Rupees of National Highway scam was deposited in the accounts of Congress leaders. He termed the Aajiwan Sahyog Nidhi as a transparent bid for collecting genuine funds where receipts are being given and the party is taking donation in form of cheque and drafts only. Bhatt said that the first phase of the Aajiwan Sahyog Nidhi programme would end on January 26. On February 11, the party would observe Samarpan Diwas in which the party workers would donate for the party fund. The BJP president claimed that the party is facing problem to pay salaries of its office workers despite being in power. He said that the party leaders have been asked not to take donation from the people with dubious grounds and Government employees.
The State BJP chief also blasted the congress party for politicizing the unfortunate incident of suicide of transporter Prakash Pandey. He said that it is norm that a person committing suicide is not paid any financial assistance by the government. He however added that the promise of local BJP MlA would be kept. Bhatt said that the extending the limits of urban local bodies is a good step which will open flood gates of development. He said that when the protesting people will realize these benefits their opposition would end.
On distribution of the responsibilities Bhatt said that there is a broad understanding within the party that they should be declared but no limit has been decided.
