The CM Harish Rawat has tagged BJP 's ‘Shankhnad’ rally as election agenda and slammed the opposition for indulging in blame game rather than charting the progress road map. He said the intention of BJP to create violence in the city was foiled and alleged that BJP was after him using fair and foul means to tarnish his image, CBI probe was one of those means adopted by the opposition. Speaking to The Pioneer after the rally, Rawat said, "If BJP can prove its allegations against me I shall take sannyasa from politics.
Yesterday's rally was just aimed to make allegations against our ruling party in State. They organised the rally just to make false promises as they are doing at centre." He added that the slogans and talks which the party did in the streets of Ahmedabad, now they were doing by visiting the states of the country. "People looked for some developmental agendas in the rally address but were disheartened to hear only blame game," said Rawat. On the funds statement, Harish said, "The State Government has not received any budget from the centre. If they had given they must declare the ledger and account number. Rather we have incurred losses to the tune of 16 to 18 crores on account of non-receipt of budget."
