A 23-year old youth died in a road accident on Friday as the two-wheeler he was on had a head-on collision with a speeding bus. He was going from Bahadrabad to Haridwar on the highway when the bus rammed into him, the police said. He was admitted to the district hospital where he died during treatment. The bus driver was arrested. The deceased has been identified as Satendra Singh who ran a computer centre in Saharanpur, said police. He was going to his home in Shyanpur, Rishikesh from Saharanpur when the mishap occurred. SSP Santhil Abudai Krishn Raj said, “The youth was going on highway riding his motor bike on Friday morning when he was hit by a speeding Haryana roadways bus. Those present on the road admitted him to the district hospital in serious condition. He died during the treatment.” The body of the victim was later sent for autopsy, he added.
