Observers opined that increasing road accidents in Dehradun and other parts of the State have left the residents scared. Statistics reveal that on an average, one or two road accidents occur daily in the Dehradun district. They ascribed them to poor road connectivity, lack of traffic sense among the vehicle users, rash driving and the like. The government should initiate measures to check road accidents occurring at regular intervals in the city, one of them said.
