In its third year, the Big Gig Exclusive will be held this year at landaur, Mussoorie, on April 19 with an attractive line up of artistes. The acts scheduled to play are among the country’s most talented and respected musicians.

The Dhruv Vishwanath trio is a Delhi-based outfit which has been hailed as one of the best live acts in the country. Raagleela is a fusion band which blends Indian classical with western rock. Run! It’s The Kid is a folk rock quartet which has been enthralling audiences across the country with their Dylanesque compositions and live energy.

The Prateek Kuhad Collective changes the sound up a bit with their soulful and catchy Hindi numbers. The festival will include a performance by the uniquely gifted Mame Khan. A veteran Rajasthani folk singer, Mame Khan’s credits include singing in a number of Hindi films and recently performing at Coke Studio on MTV. His live shows enthrall the audience and hold them spell-bound throughout the entire performance. Returning to play at the Big Gig Exclusive will be The Okies, an American folk duo, who have been associated with the festival since its first year.

The Bootleg Browns too have performed at the event since its inception, offering a treat for Blues music fans. There will also be a performance by the Woodstock School jazz band and the school choir. Woodstock School boasts of the best music programme in the country.

This year, to make it easier for audience members to come from Delhi, the Big Gig Exclusive has joined hands with Grallo, a UK based travel company which specialises in providing transport for events. Grallo will make it easier for a concert attendee by taking care of all their travel needs from Delhi to Mussoorie. They also believe in leaving the smallest possible carbon footprint, which makes them conscious about the environment.
