Among a host of public and private sector companies in the country, six 'National Safety Awards' have been won by the Bharat Heavy Electricals limited (BHEl) for outstanding achievements in terms of the longest accident free period and lowest accident frequency rate at their works.
The awards were received by the BHEl chairman and managing director Atul Sobti from the Union minister of State for labour and Emloyment (independent charge) Santosh Kumar Gangwar at a function held in the national Capital.
