The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Haridwar lok Sabha, Kanchan Choudhary Bhattacharya took out a road show in many areas of the city which are part of Haridwar constituency on Thursday. The road show of AAP candidate Bhattacharya started from Kargi Chowk and meandered through many areas of Dharampur Assembly segment.
During the show, Bhattacharya who happens to be the first women Director General of State police asked people to give AAP a chance this time. She said that the corruption has vitiated the vitals of the nation and due to this illness India is not able to break into the league of developed nations. Exhorting the people to overthrow the corrupt parties, Bhattacharya said that corruption directly affects the lives of the common people and it’s the high time for the people to show their disapproval of corruption by exercising their vote. She said that she understands the problems of the people of Haridwar and would work to solve these problems if elected. The AAP candidate said that to give the people of Haridwar their due share in power would be her top priority. The road show covered Kargi, Patharibag, laxman School, Singal Madi, Ritha Mandi, Bhandari Bag, Matawala, Patelnagar, Ram lila Colony, THDC colony, Sevlakalan, Chandrabani and Shimla Bypass. She was accompanied by AAP leaders Ranvir Choudhary, Rajesh Bahuguna, district convener Sanjay Bhatt, HS Rathore, KS Bisht, Sunita Singh and large number of party workers.
