In a press statement issued by the leader of Opposition in Vidhan Sabha, Ajay Bhatt lamented over the State Government’s claim that lokayukta Act was cancelled and would also cancel Right to Service Act, which was implemented during BJP regime in the State.
He said that that instead of strictly implementing the Act, the State Government is reinforcing the Act after amending it, which is surely one of the ways to increase corruption in the State Government. He also demanded from the Congress led-State Government to take effective measures for curtailing corruption and not to cancel the Act, which was passed during the BJP regime in Uttarakhand.
