The Bhajan Samraat Anup Jalota ascribed his skill in dragging a line of a song for a long time while holding his breath -something  which has won him acclaim the world over- to the Pranayama of which Baba Ramdev is a world-renowned exponent. “This is helping me retain my skill for years,” he said at a programme in Haridwar organised by Adhyatm Chetna Sangh as part of Geeta Mahotsav on Monday.

Those present were thrilled by the maestro’s skill, not worn out a bit by his advancing age, as he presented Bhajans on Meera Bai and lord Krishna in his distinctive style.

A Muslim girl Imama, student of Delhi Public School, enthralled all present by reciting sloka from Bhagavadgeeta, which earned her a prize in the contest involving students as part of the Geeta Mahotsav.
