The seers from Bhagirathi Dham of Haridwar said on Wednesday that though they had been called by the Sanatan Dharma Mahasabha Sri Balaji Dham for raising voice against the security guards of yoga guru Ramdev, who had allegedly thrashed activists of a social organisation through a media conference, they had not said anything against Baba Ramdev nor did they have any view on the issues raised there.
Mentionworthy, the activists of Akhil Bhartiya Gauraksha Kranti Sena based in Gujarat headed by Swami Gopal Dass had alleged on April 29 that while pressing their demand to meet Baba Ramdev in Patanjali Yog Peeth, theyhad been beaten by the security guards of Baba Ramdev.
Sanatan Dharma Mahasabha Sri Balaji Dham of Haridwar had lent its support to ABGKS and called on the saints of Haridwar to stand in unison against the yoga guru for the misbehavior of his security guards
“Our seers had gone on humanitarian grounds to the press club of Haridwar as we were called by the activists from Gujarat and the national head of Sanatan Dharma Mahasabha Sri Balaji Dham of Haridwar, Swami Prabodhanand Giri. However, after we reached we found many issues being raised concerning the political and social image of the yoga guru. But we have no opinion on the issues raised there. Nor do we support them,” said the manager, Bhagirathi Dham, Swami Atmanand in a statement.
