Renowned film producer and documentary film maker Mike Berry explained the concept of movie making to the students of Himgiri Zee University here on Monday.
Berry has a vast experience of 34 years which ranges from working with premier Hollywood production company 20th Century Fox to documentary film making in India and being the jury member of various film festivals across the globe.
Addressing the students, Berry said that young boys and girls should open their eyes and ears in order to see what is happening around the world.
He stated that knowledge of advance digital technology in today’s era is very crucial for entertainment and media industry. Berry explained how to conceive an idea for a film and how to materialise that idea on celluloid.
He emphasized on the creativity and innovativeness in thought process in order to create a good film. Berry emphasized knowledge of VFX, editing software and graphic designing for the students.
The Vice Chancellor of the University Abhishek Asthana said that University is committed to invite more and more experts from the field of Media, journalism and films in near future in order to reach and broaden the horizon of the students.
He also said that the university is devoted to provide the best mix of academic and work field experience.
Assistant Professors from department of Mass Communications and large number of students listened attentively to the lecture of Mike Berry on the occasion.
