The agitators included those Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) qualified candidates were selected in the year 2013 as primary teachers in the schools of state government.  These teachers are demanding that since they were given appointment letters and pay scale of primary teachers 11 months after their joining  in September 2012. They are demanding that they should be given appointment and scale from September 2013 instead of August 2013.  The TET PSS is also raising demand that the state government like central government should increase the entry level scale of the primary teachers and fix it at Rs 16290.

Under the banner of TET PSS the teachers assembled at the Parade ground on Sunday morning and held a demonstration.  Addressing the agitators the President of the organization Anup Jadli said that 2253 teachers who were appointed in the primary schools of state in September 2012 were given a paltry stipend of only Rs 7000 pm for almost one year while the teachers appointed recently by the education department were given proper appointment and scale from the very first day of their selection. He said that the sate government should remove this disparity immediately.

Jadli threatened that the Sangh would intensify their stir in the coming days if their demands are not accepted. The patron of the TET PSS Anil Kotnala said that the education department should abolish the Block cadre concept under which the newly appointed teachers are posted for 10 years in the same block.  He said that the state government should implement the old pension scheme for the teachers appointed in the year 2013. Kotnala said that instead of the transfer policy the state government should enact a transparent transfer act which has a constitutional status.

The organization is also demanding payment of inaccessible allowance to the teachers and benefit of Assured Career Progression (ACP) to the teachers. The organisation threatened to intensify their agitation if the education department fails to fulfill their demands soon.
