The Christmas Eve has kept the bakers busy all through the day. Cakes of myriad sizes rolled into shapes of bell, Christmas tree and Santa have been kept on offer, the bakers said. A large number of buyers are opting for the plum cakes, said Shailendra, a bakery owner.
Another baker Rajat said he had started getting orders days before the Christmas. “We received orders till Thursday, the Christmas Eve. We are naturally happy as the number of orders this season is the highest,” he added.
