The backlog of appointments to posts reserved for SC/ST in Government departments is being cleared on a priority basis, said chief minister Harish Rawat. He said this while speaking at a programme on human rights for SC and ST organised by SC ST Employees Federation in the town hall in Dehradun. The CM announced formation of a monitoring committee under the additional chief secretary for monitoring the reservation for SC and ST for clearing departmental backlogs and posts to be filled through outsourcing.
