The philosophy of Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar contains solutions to the problems arising out of the social conflicts, said Cabinet Minister Madan Kaushik while speaking at a seminar organised to mark the  birth anniversary of the principal architect of the Indian Constitution at the IRTD auditorium, Survey Chowk, here on Saturday.

Terming the youth as ‘powerhouse of the Indian society’, the Minister said that they need to be informed about  the social fabric of our country. Kaushik said that it is unfortunate that incidents of social conflict are still occurring in our country. He said that it is the responsibility of every one to prevent such incidents as the police and administration have their limitations. Expressing grave concern over the misuse of social media, Kaushik said the role of social media is important but there are some elements which do not want social harmony to prevail. The Minister said that Ambedkar should not be viewed as an individual but as embodiment of an ideology. “ To stop social discord, everyone should become ‘Ambedkar’ in his own way,” he said. The Minister  also flagged off the mobile van of Ujjawala Yojana on the occasion.
