After spreading roots deep into Uttarakhand, Patanjali Yogpeeth run by Baba Ramdev is all set to step into neighbouring Uttar Pradesh. The chain of things about to start in UP include Mega Food Park, Divya Pharmacy and educational institution like Acharykulum. Eyes focused on the backward area of Bundelkhand, the yogpeeth is now giving things the final shape.
Notably, a UP Cabinet Minister Shivpal Singh Yadav came to Patanjali Yog Peeth on Wednesday with the proposal to develop natural herbs, Ayurved and the like. Yadav is said to have come as a representative of Mulayam Sibgh Yadav and the CM Akhilesh Yadav. Baba Ramdev whose pre-monastic name was Ram Kishan Yadav accepted the proposal.
The warm relation of the Baba with Mulayam Singh Yadav dated back to the time when the UP leader came out to support Ramdev when he was facing the allegation leveled by the CPI-M leader Brinda Karat.
Appreciating the proposal, Swami Ramdev said, “Mulayam Singh Yadav laid the foundation of Patanjali Yog Peeth in Haridwar in 2004. Now, it is flourishing across the world,” he said.
