The family of Ashish Kumar of Kurushetra district in Haryana was given the honour of offering the Darshani Gilaf for the holy mast of the flag. The Darshani Gilaf is the outmost covering of the Jhandaji and it is considered very a rare honour to have this opportunity. Ashish Kumar who owns a grocery shop in Kurushetra town said that his grandfather had made the booking of the darshani Gilaf in the year 1990. His mother with a deep sense of pride, satisfaction and devotion said that the she has prayed for welfare of all while offering the sacred Gilaf for Jhanda ji.
