The ashes of noted film actor and BJP MP Vinod Khanna were immersed in Ganga at Har Ki Pauri on Friday. The daughter of Vinod Khanna Shradha, younger son Sakshya and his wife Kavita Khanna performed the last rites of the deceased actor along with other family members. Vinod Khanna had died on April 27 in a private hospital in Mumbai after fighting against cancer for long. The family priest of Khanna family Pt Gopal Patuwar said while talking to The Pioneer that the family would be performing elaborate rituals at Kushawart Ghat on Saturday .
