Arvind Kumar Tyagi, an officer of 1985 batch of Indian Railway Services has taken charge of the Director (systems and rolling stock) of Uttarakhand Metro Rail, Urban Infrastructure and Buildings Construction Corporation limited.
The Uttarakhand government had appointed Tyagi in the month of February, 2019. He is having an experience of 34 years in which he served in various capacities in the Indian Railways. His appointment is expected to provide an impetus to the ambitious Metro rail project in Uttarakhand.
