Complaints of braid chopping continuing to come to the police, a class XII student of Government Inter College, Bindukhatta at lalkuan in Nainital district has alleged on Thursday that her hair was chopped on Wednesday night. She said that as she woke up at 5 am on Thursday she found her hair being cut without her knowing it. She claimed that the room where she slept with her family members was locked on the inside. The scared neighbours rushed to her house followed by a police team reaching it. Police recorded her statement and assured that they would investigate.
Such complaints coming one after another from across the state have left the police baffled while those who claim themselves to be rationalists say that the complainants are contacting things to get media attention.
