Another Akhada Parishad's member goes missing

Even as the authorities have failed to locate the missing national spokesperson of Akhada Parishad, another member of the religious fraternity is reported to be missing. The police have not been able to get any clue of the earlier sadhu who went missing from moving train a fortnight ago. The Government and the top officials have been trying to placate the irked sadhus making a beeline to the akhada located in Kankhal, and now once again there is a fresh trouble for them. The Urban Development Minister Madan Kaushik had visited thrice in a fortnight to pacify the sadhus over the steps taken by the Government to trace the sadhu.

Fresh troubles arise for the police and Bada Udaseen akhada since a seer Kailash Muni has reportedly gone missing from Agra. The saint lived in Agra and often visited the Bada Akhada at Kankhal in Haridwar. Though the Akhada acting head Sukhdev Muni said that Kailash Muni was not an office bearer, he added that he did belong to Akhada.

Sukhdev Muni told The Pioneer, that Kailash Muni did not have any property in his name and he was a wandering sadhu.

Speaking to this correspondent, SSP Krishna Kumar V K said, “We have not received any complaint or information from the akhada about another seer going missing. The probe for Mahant Mohan Dass is on and very soon we shall be able to reach to some decision.”
