The anger of the students on the issue of evening classes in the DAV College continued to simmer of Thursday as large number of students belonging to different unions gathered at the gate of the college. The students announced that they would march to the CM’s residence to stage Gehrao on the issue.
A large contingent of policemen was sent to the DAV College to prevent the students from executing their plans. The students however dropped their plan of Gherao and handed over a memorandum of to ADM demanding that the evening classes should start in the college. The college administration has closed the institution for three days when the students indulged in vandalism in the college campus on Wednesday.
