He said that the Government administration had released a Government order (GO) around four days ago, stating on a pilot project basis, patients and their relatives would be provided night meals too at Doon Hospital under Indira Amma Bhojan Yojana. The patients and those with limited resources will benefit from this scheme at the hospital, he added. Special focus has been laid on cleanliness in the affordable meals canteen. A person can get a meal comprising a mixed preparation of

Rajma-Udad-Bhatt, green vegetable, aaloo-gobhi, four chapattis, rice, green chutney and pickle for only Rs 20 at this canteen.

It should be mentioned here that in the last year, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat had launched the Indira Amma Bhojan Yojana in Dehradun on the occasion of Independence Day. An affordable meals

canteen was inaugurated by him at the HNB complex near Clock Tower as part of the scheme.
