The district administration, Almora, has asked the officials concerned of the different departments to utilise the sanctioned amount allocated under the district plan before November 15, 2014. Emphasising the need to ensure full utilisation of the funds approved under the district plan before the aforesaid deadline, the district administration, Almora, has said that, necessary departmental actions will be taken against the officials concerned who fail to utilise the amount released to their respective departments till the given period of time.
More so, it has also warned the officials concerned against delay in utilisation of the previous financial year's funds available with them as on April 1, 2014 saying the officials concerned will be responsible for timely utilisation of that funds.The administration has also cautioned some of the departments, particularly Jal Nigam, Jal Sansthan and PWD, against the poor pace involving the utilisation of the funds.
At the same time the district administration, Almora, has also asked the officials concerned of the agriculture and horticulture departments to ensure speedy utilisation of the funds.The district administration Almora has also asked the officials concerned to accommodate the ongoing projects or uncompleted projects in the new district plan which is being prepared for the coming financial year so that these developmental works could also be completed in due course of time.
It has asked the officials concerned to start verification process of different developmental projects at village, block, and district panchayat levels so that final shape could be given to the plan in the upcoming meeting slated in November. Besides, the district administration has emphasised the need to ensure speedy utilization of funds under state sector, Centrally sponsored schemes and other projects.
It has again asked the officials concerned to inform the public representatives about the projects of different developmental works being carried out in the district.The district administration, Almora, has stressed the need to make bigger financial provision under the district plan for carrying out maintenance or repair works of Government buildings.
