Almora admn to organise multipurpose camp today

Citizens may get their grievances solved on the spot as the Almora district administration is all set to host a multipurpose camp to solve their problems on Thursday. The multipurpose camp will be organised at the Junior High School at Mahat Village in Almora’s Ranikhet tehsil from 11 am on Thursday. Apart from helping the citizens resolve their concerns on the spot, different Government departments, including  health, revenue, agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, forest, social welfare, child development and education, to name a few departments, will also make the citizens aware of the Government’s welfare schemes, said the officials concerned of the Almora district administration.

More so, the eligible citizens may apply for different popular schemes being run by departments like social welfare, health, revenue, electricity, drinking water, education, horticulture, agriculture, rural development, industry, youth welfare and tourism at this multipurpose camp.  Therefore, the Almora district administration has asked the officials concerned of the aforesaid departments to ensure availability of adequate number of application forms at the camp. Besides, dairy, child development, fishery, panchayat raj, among others, will set up their respective departmental stalls at the camp.

Meanwhile, to ensure successful conduct of the multipurpose camp, the district administration, Almora, has directed the officials concerned to be present at the camp on Thursday with necessary preparations.

At the same time, it has also advised the people to join the camp in maximum number and get their grievances resolved on the spot. Among others, MlA from Somewhar (Almora) Rekha Arya is expected to attend the camp to  address the grievances of the people, as the officials concerned of the district administration Almora said.
