Sub-divisional magistrate has sealed an illiegal cable connection network operating on Akhara flats near Bhairon Mandir on Wednesday.
The cable network is running under the banner DCN. It is said that this cable TV network is operating in Kankhal areas though it has permission to operate only in Shivalik Nagar.
SDM Manish Kumar said, “During an inspection carried out by ADM lalit Narayan, many irregularities were found in the cable operators’ network.
Hence we have sealed the network. Nearly 50,000 connections in the city have been disrupted.”
