A 22-member delegation from Afghanistan formally met the Dehradun District Magistrate Dr BVRC Purushottam on Thursday. The delegation members were informed about ongoing developmental projects and policies of the State Government on Thursday. A 22 member delegation from Afghanistan is on a tour of India from May 26 to June 6 under Afghan provisional training programme organised by Indian Institute of Public Administration, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of India. The members were also informed about various welfare schemes being executed and steps which are being taken for redressal of people's grievances at district level.
