Senior BJP leader and former chairperson of Haldwani municipal council, Renu Adhikari has flayed the State Finance Minister and MlA from Haldwani Assembly constituency, Indira Hridayesh of misleading the people of her constituency on the matter of providing smooth drinking water.
“The minister rolling out statement that the State Government had approved Rs2,60,85,000 to improve Haldwani’s drinking water supply system is false. The sorry state of things on this count contradicts her statement,” the BJP leader said.
“The enormous amount that the Finance Minister had claimed to have released is nowhere in the picture. This is public money. So the people can justly be inquisitive about it,” added Adhikari.
“This is sad that the minister keeps on doling out false commitments when the hapless people are having harrowing time in get drinking water,” she said.
