Strict action will be taken against the persons responsible for supplying sub-standard material to the relief camp in Jagargunda area, said Chief Minister Raman Singh on Monday.
Singh who was on a one-day visit to Jagdalpur told reporters that the government is likely to make changes in the scheme for supply of pulses to the people living in the relief camps in Bastar.
It is pertinent to mention that ration was supplied after about a month to the people living in relief camps in Jagargunda area of Naxal-hit Sukma district. However, the people were shocked to find the rotten vegetables and grains. The ration was supplied under tight security through Dornapal but people got annoyed when they found the material unfit for consumption.
