Special Investigation Team (SIT) is facing roadblocks in taking the Ruby Choudhary case to its logical conclusion with academy higher-ups adopting stony silence. The police sources said the top officials are maintaining studied silence. May be, they are trying to shield certain officials complicit in the case or maybe, they are doing so to protect the image of the prestigious institute from being further tarnished. “We are convinced both these motives are making them dither. However, the case is unfolding and the noose around the neck of the complicit officials is tightening,” a police officer said.
