ABVP slams Govt's apathy for evening class students

Published on:

The activists of Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) burned the effigy of the State Government for ignoring the problems of students of evening classes.

The students assembled in the campus of DBS College and raised slogans against the State Government for not starting the evening classes properly even after giving admissions to the students. The students were agitated as no one from the Government cared to visit the place where they are sitting on a hunger strike from last two days. The students threatened to intensify their agitation if their genuine demands are not heeded soon.

The State Government initiated the concept of evening classes last year to accommodate the students who were left out in the process of admissions. However due to lack of budget, the classes of both theory and practical are being affected, prompting the students enrolled in these classes to agitate.
