Stepping up preparations for the ensuing general elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has appointed election-in-charges in the three Assembly segments of Dehradunon Thursday.
AAP is adopting five youths per booth strategy in these elections and the party is organising training camps for its workers for the purpose.
The District coordinator of AAP Sanjay Bhatt told The Pioneer that the party was fully prepared for the general elections; and said that the party had nominated Rajesh Bahuguna and Madhusudan Sundrayal as election in charges from Doiwala Assembly, Manoj Kamboj and J Haq from Dharampur assembly and Bhupendra Rana and Yudhveer Chauhan from Rishikesh assembly. Bhatt said that the party was organising training camps for its workers and preparing them for the general elections and the party is flooded with the volunteers who are willing to campaign for the fledgling party.
