In a novel initiative, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) activists started a drive to remove the posters and banners of their party from different parts of the city on Thursday. The party workers gathered at the party office at Shivaji Dharamshala and initiated the cleanliness drive just a day after the day of voting.

Addressing the party workers, the AAP candidate from Tehri lok Sabha Anoop Nautiyal said that the initiative to remove the banners and posters is being taken so that the common people do not face any inconvenience from the campaign material. He thanked the party workers for their untiring effort during the poll campaign. Nautiyal lauded the effort of the workers who worked selflessly for many days and although there was a severe crunch of resources they never complained. On a philosophical note Nautiyal said that victory and defeat in hands of god but he prays that a deserving, honest and hardworking person becomes the MP.

The meeting was attended by Ranveer Choudhary, Sameer Munderi, Onkar Bhatia, Ritu Dimri and large number of party workers.
