The people of Uttarakhand are fed up with the corrupt regimes of the BJP and the Congress and they are now inclined towards the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the district coordinator of the AAP, Sanjay Bhatt, told newsmen here on Thursday. He said that the Uttarakhand Government led by Harish Rawat is letting the precious natural wealth of the State looted by the mining and other mafias.
Bhatt said that his party would participate in the Assembly elections of 2017 with full strength. The party had released a State manifesto in the parliamentary elections and in the Assembly elections also it would project this document. The AAP leader claimed that the historic result of Delhi Assembly election would have an effect on the entire country.
The party has a holistic vision for the State of Uttarakhand. Bhatt said that the people of Uttarakhand have understood the nefarious designs of the Congress and the BJP and they would now vote for the AAP in next elections. He said that hundreds of party workers from the State camped for many days in the Delhi elections and worked tirelessly for the candidates of the party. Bhatt said the BJP threw its full might in Delhi elections but all its efforts went in vain in front of the steely resolve of the AAP workers.
He stated that the AAP Government of Delhi would fulfil the aspirations of the people. Meanwhile, the district unit of the AAP organised a meeting of party workers on Thursday. The workers decided to work actively for the Assembly elections of 2017. They extended their full support for the people of village Maletha in Tehri district. The villagers are protesting against installation of stone-crushers.
