Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and former head of 108 Emergency ambulance services Anoop Nautiyal has called upon to increase awareness level in the society to fight the menace of TB.
He said India housed 20 per cent of total TB patients of the world. Nautiyal said a TB patient could infect at least 15 people and the disease was spreading in Uttarakhand at a rapid rate. He opined a concrete working plan was required for elimination of a disease like TB.
