A quirky weather may mar the Republic Day celebration in Dehradun with the Uttarakhand meteorological department forecasting cloudy sky with rain on Monday. The forecast for Uttarakhand for January 26 is rainfall in the plains while light to moderate rainfall with snow at many places in the higher reaches of the State. Uttarakhand meteorological centre director Anand Sharma has attributed this to western disturbances. Uttarakhand will have dry weather in on Sunday. However, fog or mist may envelop the plains of the State on Sunday.
