The six-day Budget Session of Uttarakhand Assembly functioned for a total of 31 hours and 29 minutes. Giving details of the Session, the Speaker Prem Chand Agarwal said that 630 questions were received by the Assembly for the Session. He said that out of 186 starred questions, 50 were answered while 85 out of 352 unstarred questions were answered.
He further informed that a total of 32 petitions were accepted during the session. Agarwal said that 25 notices out of 28 received under rule 300 were forwarded. A total of nine Bills were tabled and passed by the house during the Session. The Speaker said that for the first time the proceedings of the house were telecast live on DIPR Facebook page.
