Two minor sisters were allegedly sexually exploited by a 40- year-old person named Suraj, a native of Nepal. The accused who was living in a rented accommodation located at Singhli, Rajpur, had allegedly raped his landlord's daughters by turns. A FIR was lodged by the girls’ parents at Rajpur Police Station on Tuesday. A case under sections 376 and 506 of IPC against the accused was registered in the Rajpur Police Station, said SSP PRO Mahipal Singh Rawat. The accused is absconding, according to the police.
The complainant stated that two such incidents had happened in a span of a few days- one to his elder daughter and later to his younger one. The accused had gone outside the house with his 16- year old elder daughter on October 24. Suraj had lured her into a desolate place and allegedly raped her. The accused threatened her of dire consequences in case she dared disclose it to her family members.
later, the same accused had again moved outside with his 11- year- old younger daughter and she was allegedly sexually exploited by him on November 1. In fear of being harmed by the accused, his elder daughter kept the incident to herself. However, his younger daughter recounted the incident to her parents, the complainant said.
Taking cognisance of a written complaint from the girls’ parents, a case under sections 376 and 506 of IPC was registered against the accused, said Rajpur Police Station in-charge and sub -inspector Rajesh Shah. The teams headed by a lady sub-inspector have been constituted and they have begun investigating the case. Police have been deployed to nab the accused who had fled the place after the crime was committed.
