A few days ago the case was transferred to Nehru Colony. Sharma approached the Nehru Colony Police Station officer to remove his parents’ name from the FIR several times over the past few days. Sharma was sent to jail after being presented in the court.

In another incident from Udham Singh Nagar, Dineshpur Police Station in-charge sub-inspector Rajat Kasana arrested three persons for allegedly offering him bribe of Rs5lakh related to a case of selling of Government lands by forgery. Police sources said that five acre land at Chandipur village and other lands supposed to be under the Government ownership are being sold fraudulently at the behest of a Greater Noida-based property dealer Ravindra Singh.

Rudrapur Tehsil (Revenue) SI Pralad Ram Arya on April 25 registered a compliant in Dineshpur police station and a case against Pipliya-I resident Dinesh Vishwas, Chandipur residents Indra Singh and Ranjeet was registered. Police arrested Dinesh Vishwas while two others who figure in the complaint are elusive. In course of interrogation, Viashwas told police that the kingpin of the case is Ravindra Singh, native of Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Ravindra took to his heels after he got to know that police were after him.

Ravindra Singh allegedly had offered Rs 10 lakh to the Dineshpur police station in-charge Rajat Kasana, saying  that his brother Radhe Shyam Singh would give him Rs five lakh in advance to keep his name out of the case. The remaining amount would be provided after the thing was done, it was assured.
