A 30-year-old Meerut (Uttar Pradesh) native Anuj Singh committed suicide by shooting himself with his licensed gun at his in-law’s home located at Jakhan (Rajpur) in Dehradun on Tuesday night.
Rajpur sub-inspector MS Chauhan said that Singh had committed suicide by shooting himself past midnight. He was suffering from depression because Uttar Pradesh Police had procured non-bailable warrant against him from the court for his alleged role in drug trafficking.
