A 22-year old woman was allegedly gang-raped by six persons, including two Home Guards, in a guest house in Mussoorie on Friday. SP City Ajay Singh said that some suspects are being questioned. One guest house employee was also allegedly involved, police said. The guest house has been sealed. Mussoorie being a tourist hub, the incident in which two Home Guards were allegedly involved has left the police tense. Senior police officers, including DIG/SSP Pushpak Jyoti, went the police station under whose limit the crime occurred and questioned some suspects. Subsequently, a case under sections 376 (d) and 395 of IPC was registered against unidentified persons in the police station, Mussoorie. Police sources said that the woman complainant, native of Siliguri of West Bengal, had reached Mussoorie to meet her friend on Thursday. At library Chowk, four persons, sitting in a car, took her to a guest house the same evening. Two bike- borne persons who were following the car also reached the guest house where all of them allegedly gang-raped her. She later reached the police station and reported her complaint, a police official said.
